Leonora 'Nora' Badger was born about 1876 in Charleston, Missouri and died on April 8, 1955 in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee. Actual date of birth is unknown. She lived to be about 79 years old.

Her mother was Estella Wall Badger (1851-1904) she was born in Kentucky. Her father Felix A. Badger (1833-1894) was of Native American heritage, thought to be Cherokee. He was a dentist in Nashville, TN.

After Mr. Criddle's death, Leonora (Nora) married William H. Schuerman, a widower, who was the Dean of Civil Engineering at Vanderbilt University.
