Joseph A. Walker was born on February 1, 1858 somewhere in Georgia and died in an unknown year in an unknown place. Actual date of death is unknown. He lived to be about 99 years old.

He married twice. First to Nancy Steward on September 4, 1879 in Douglas County and then to Frances Pace on April 14, 1900 in Haralson County. In the 1900 Census his wife was listed as Sarah F. (Frances?) (born October 1863) who had given birth to 4 children who were still living. He had the following children:

Chambless is a farmer and his sons help work the farm. All were born in GA. Chambless estimates the value of his real estate to be $300. Chambless and Nancy cannot read or write.
