Mr. Charles Albert Price, age 71, of Blountstown, FL, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at his home.
Charles was born on July 14, 1944 in Blountstown, FL to Albert and Mattie (Gibson) Price. He worked for over 20 years with the Florida Department of Corrections and was also a carpenter. Mr. Price was a 1962 graduate of Blountstown High School, an avid fisherman, a pool player, and he loved to play cards. Charles had lived in Blountstown for all of his life and was a member of First Baptist Church in Blountstown, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Mattie Price.
He is survived by: A Daughter: Brandy Lee and husband Keith, of Blountstown, FL A Sister: Jackie Jordan and husband Ellis, of Blountstown, FL 6 Grandchildren: Marysa, Dylan, Dharma, Jordan, Trenton, Cas’Marie And a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at 4:00 PM (CST) Graveside at Nettle Ridge Cemetery in Blountstown, FL, with Reverend Tim Rhoades officiating. Interment will immediately follow. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be given to the Blountstown High School Football Program. All arrangements are under the direction of Marlon Peavy of Peavy Funeral Home in Blountstown, FL.
